Hello loves and Happy May!  The weather here in Southern California has been absolutely perfect, which to me means... gloomy mornings, warm afternoons, and cool evenings.  I can only take so much heat, especially when I'm 30 weeks pregnant!  Wow, maybe this pregnancy is going by quicker than I thought it would.....

So on a perfect Spring day (pregnant or not) I am thrilled when I can wear a wrap dress and a comfy, yet cute, pair of flats.  Now how often do I find cute yet comfy shoes?  Not often!  But today's footwear is brought to you buy an Australian based, woman owned, shoe company, Charlie Stone, and they do just that!

I was able to snag two pairs of Charlie Stone flats, which honestly, both of the ones I got would look fantastic with this dress but I opted for the green pair, named "Toscano," with this dainty, pink-based, floral print.   Below is the black pair, named "Bellagio," and I know these are going to be my go to!  Right now Charlie Stone is running a promo... free shipping world wide!  That saves a good chunk of money, click here to see what they've got!

As far as sizing goes, I wear an 8.5 in US sizing.  According the size chart on the Charlie Stone website, an 8.5 converts to a 39 (usually it does), but for once I have found an overseas company that actually fits true to size!  I will say that 9 out of 10 times that I have ordered shoes online, especially when I have to convert, they are so off on sizing I can't even wear them.  This fit was like a Cinderella moment, thank you!

As you can see my belly is looking pretty heavy!  I have had chronic back pain & sciatica for almost 20 years, and this pregnancy has brought on some nagging hip pain as well.  Along with that, being this far along, the added weight adds more stress to everything below the waist.  So as a very special surprise to me, the Charlie Stone shoe line was actually created by the owner, Samantha, who wanted a cute vintage style shoe, but that would accommodate strain on feet and knees.  Ummm... well I guess we were meant to be!  You know what they say... when you feel good, you look good!

I got a lot of questions about this dress on my Instagram, click here to get yours!

xoxo, Tara
