Vintage Style with Lucky Lou Shoes
Happy Monday! Hopefully this post will add a little spring to your wonky Monday. I got a heads up from Lucky Lou Shoes that they wanted to send over one of their bamboo cage purses so I could show all of you how cute it is. Now... cute it definitely is! but I had no idea I was in for the surprise of being able to fold this baby up. I have been collecting vintage for well over a decade, and those wicker & box purses take up a lot of real estate in the closet (and really this is to the point that I pretty much refrain from buying anymore unless it is ABSOLUTELY necessary).
This purse has all the vintage vibes and (in my opinion) goes along great with my typical casual look... which usually involves denim and a vintage embroidered western button up. This would also look amazing with a tropical tiki dress, or anyone going on vacation to a sunny spot! Or how about those of you going to Viva Las Vegas next month? This purse is also listed in my Viva Las Vegas Packing List. Who wouldn't bring this cutie after knowing it folds THAT flat?! Look below for how easy it is...
Lucky Lou offers their bamboo cage bag in a dark and natural stain (this one os the darker option), as well as in a small and large size. They also offer beautiful retro inspired heels, wedges, and bangles.
One more thing I'd like to share today is .... MATERNITY JEANS!
This baby bump is expanding every day and my go-to jeans finally had to get folded up and put away for some time. They were not only uncomfortable, but were digging into my belly, and folding them down didn't look right either. My clothing options have become very limited, and I can't justify purchasing too many new pieces for a temporary wardrobe. BUT! at a recent trip to Target, I tried on these jeggings from their maternity department, and I ended up wearing them home.
My first opinion of them is that they are not my style, but at this point I am happy to have on comfortable denim and OWNING IT! I am still representing my vintage inspired style, proudly showing off this bump, and am comfortable all while doing it. My goal for this pregnancy was to not lose myself during or after pregnancy, and I give partial credit to all of you reading and following along. It keeps me motivated and very happy to have you around. So... Thank You!
