Happy Friday the 13th!
This may as well be the spookiest of October's as we also get a visit from Friday the 13th only 2 weeks away from Halloween. I know I take after my mom in many ways when it comes to holidays. When I was a kid, she would make our Halloween costumes, throw festive parties, and I'm pretty sure I had a puffy paint shirt for every holiday on the calendar.... and I may also still get an Easter basket every Spring from the "Easter Bunny." So with this kind of upbringing I feel obligated to participate in holiday attire. Mixing that with my love of vintage inspiration I have brought this look for you today on Friday the 13th!
I picked up my blouse (which is actually a body suit) from Pinup Girl Clothing last Spring. Unfortunately it is no longer on their site. It has a plunging V-neck and flowing, sheer sleeves, and the fact that it is a body suit is great to make sure it stays tucked in to my pants, another discontinued item (ugh!).
From the Lauren Conrad line, I have been impressed several times from this Orange County native. Her designs are feminine and usually available in a range of pastels, including my soft green, high waist, wide leg trousers. Although I do not have a link for the pants, check out this Lauren Conrad pink coat, you won't be disappointed.
Finally, an item I DO have available for you. That creepy cute spider brooch, embellished with sparkling rhinestones, pulls this Friday the 13th look together and he's only $6!!! Get yours here.
Have frightful night!
